Gentle, fair and friendly. Those are the three words patients reach for first when they describe Dr. Sapana Majmudar. She has been practicing dentistry since 1992 and has built her Fremont practice around a single belief, that good dentistry is conservative dentistry. The healthiest tooth is the one we never had to replace, and the most comfortable visit is the one a patient leaves feeling heard.
Dr. Majmudar treats patients as young as two and as seasoned as ninety. Many of the families she sees today are second and third generation, parents who came to her in the 1990s now bringing their grown children and their grandchildren through the same door. That continuity is something she protects. The first visit is unhurried, the questions are answered in plain language, and the treatment plan is the one the patient and family understand and agree with, not the longest one possible.
Her clinical range is full spectrum. Dental implants to restore a missing tooth, veneers and whitening when a patient wants their smile to feel like theirs again, root canals when a tooth can be saved, clear aligners and bite correction for teens and adults, and the everyday work of cleanings, fillings, crowns and care for children. When a case calls for a specialist, she coordinates the referral and stays involved through the finish.
Outside the practice she is happily married with two children. She likes to hike, craft, cook and travel, and she is the kind of dentist who will ask about your last trip before she asks about your last cleaning. It is not a technique. It is how she has always worked.
